Glass has traveled hand in hand with world history and human evolution for more than 3,500 years. Over this history, we tried to understand and find uses for the materials around us. Until today we have come to know glass in many forms and uses including as a material for fashioning art.
“Handle with care” is a glass art exhibition where the young female artists observe the physical and abstract elements of materials and experiment with a creation of new materials. The translucency, fragility and the chemical transformation of glass have introduced the artists to a new world of exploration. Moreover, the realization these new horizons has led the artists to new personal creation methods that conceptualize materials and metaphor.
